Marian: No, the plants did not come with the house. The house had been rented for a couple of years and the tenants did not do a thing to the landscaping. It was also vacant for six months so even the lawn was brown and weedy. I like it that way though because it's like a blank slate. The condition of the landscaping was also a great leverage for us when it came to price negotiation. We got a landscaping allowance. I have to start from scratch. Most of plants in the pics were grown since our May move but some are from my potted collection which I dragged with me at every move (ie. the plumeria). I still have some plants on my wish list that I have yet to find or buy. So far, I have sank in a few thousand dollars in soil ammendments, grass seeds and plants and there's more to buy! Dee
Just a hodgepodge of inane ramblings and occasional burst of creativity from a person often described as a "gay man in a woman's body" tempered by "voice of reason." A mother, wife, sister and daughter who dreams to be a writer, a medical informaticist, an organic farmer, a part time gypsy and a full time radical.

Gorgeous! Did you plant everything since you've been there or did some of it come with the house?
