Pack and Go

Welcome to Sunshine State AKA Hurricane Alley...

It's that time again. Katrina is moving our way. Another forced vacation. Carload of our precious belongings. The mass exodus to higher grounds. Snail pace through clogged interstates to the Northern States. The smell of fear. The nervous vibration. November 30th need to come soon. We are tired of dodging hurricanes.

We don't have many hurricanes in England - but I don't know how I would cope - having watched them on television they look terrifying..Be glad for you when the season of hurricanes ends.....Ally

Thats a funny picture. I wish I could print it. I hope your home came out alright. I live in San Antonio, Texas and love to go to Corpus Christy as I love to see all the water and dont have to travel far.

Katrina seems to have spared te Gulf Coast--although the surf must be brutal. Nawlins about to get a Cat 5. Hope you and yours are fine, worry about all those in LA and MS.

Have just come across your weblog entry and would like to offer my hopes and prayers that you will come through OK. Weather here in the north UK has been very poor for Summer but at least it doesn't drive us out of our homes.
God bless and good luck.
