Yay, Sunshine, Beach and Sand!

A successful attempt at downloading the seaside picture I was talking about two entries ago.I took this when I brought my son to the beach to take pictures for his photo essay. I had the camera on the video mode so I had to crop the picture. Looks like I am not good at it because I can see that I did not crop it right. Oh well, the picture is there and that's what counts.

For those in the snowy states. I'm sorry. Down here in Florida, we still get sunshine and warm weather every now and then. Please do not hate Floridians. We would love to trade states during the summer months.

I do not have a bias again Floridians because of their location, there are far greater things that easily provoke my anger. LOL!  Let me see, Disney World, Sink Holes, Key West, and Election 2000.

Still love your journal though, I want hold your location against you. LOL!

With any luck we will head some place warm in a few weeks. That's the nice thing...you can always escape the snow (if only for a little while). :-)

I  hear ya!  I lived in Arizona for five years; the summers were endless and miserable!  I like having cooler weather, but I do miss the winters...so beautiful!  I went to Florida in December in '85; it was warm and wonderful!  Love the pic!  JAE

It's the same here in Las Vegas having nice weather...but we did get snow last month...we got it last winter too, what a treat that was for us. The only thing I really miss is the ocean and if we want that we need to go into California..I was spoiled living in NJ with the ocean not that far of a drive off...seeing pics of it is sure nice.

Hate, no, jealous, yes! Enjoy your sunshine and warm weather. We will continue to bundle up like eskimos and face our thoughts south to warmer days, sunshine and shorts season. The picture was worth the wait. I still can't imagine how wonderful it would be to be so close to the ocean. As an inland soul, everytime I can venture to the coast, at least once a year, I am always so amazed by the breeze, the smells, the feelings the ocean evokes from me. Thank you for sharing

The picture looks great.  We're in the 30's today which seems almost like spring compared to what we had the last few days.  Enjoy your Florida weather!

That is such a pretty picture...ah I wish I was in Florida again. Me and mon amie went this summer with her family, we had such a good time. But I hate how it was so tourist-y...I guess you can't have everything right?

Since I'm from California I don't hate your piece of gorgeous weather at all.  I wish I can bottle the sunny weather and mail it to everyone experiencing the snowstorms.  Brrr, being a tropical girl, I don't know how people in those areas can stand it, lol.

Great pic, makes me miss Florida, but I can't say I mind my snowy days here in NJ either.
