Padova, Italy

Last Italy Pictures Installment

I took this picture because of the frescoes. They are move vivid in person.

This is the church of St. Anthony. There is a reliquary inside where St. Anthony's lower jaw, tounge and vocal chords are kept for viewing.

This is the Padova city center park. It is round and surrounded by statues of famous people of the Renaissance period.

What is a trip to Europe without going to a piazza to feed the pigeons?

Last but not the least, I just had to steal a pic of a Catholic nun. I was trying to take a pic of a younger one riding a Vespa in short white habit but she was too quick.

Great pictures!!! I love the architecture.  Had to laugh at the last one, the picture of a nun because it reminds me of a comic song called Sister Josephine (who turned out to be a man lolol)

I love seeing pictures of far away places.  It takes me out of myself and reminds me there is a whole wild world out there... somewhere.  And Italy would be the place I'd go.  ~Sie

Hello. These pictures of your trip are beautiful. I wish I could have been there with you to see it all. Your pictures are the next best thing though. I like the picture of the church of St. Anthony that picture is the best one. Thanks for sharing your pictures of your trip.

<sigh> It's so romantic! From the pictures, it looks like the whole city is just one giant artwork: paintings, statues, frescos on buildings.
